1. Purpose of the Platform
1Nite Tent is a platform for listing private, free overnight camping spots for tents and potentially other mobile accommodation – provided the host permits this. The platform operator provides exclusively the technical infrastructure.
2. Role of the Platform Operator
The platform operator is not an agent, tour operator or contractual party between users. Arrangements are made exclusively between host and guest. Use is at the user's own risk.
3. Registration
Registration is required to offer a campsite. Users agree to provide accurate information.
4. Obligations of Campsite Hosts
Campsite hosts agree to:
- only offer their own or authorised land
- provide accurate and complete information
- not publish any unlawful content
Responsibility for content lies with the respective campsite host. The platform operator assumes no liability for its accuracy. Campsite hosts are solely responsible for ensuring that their published data does not infringe any third-party rights.
5. Disclaimer of Liability
The platform operator assumes no liability for:
- inaccurate information from campsite hosts
- condition or safety of the offered sites
- damages arising from the use of a site
- the conduct of users
- infringement of third-party rights through campsite host information
This applies in particular to guestbook content and references to sites or hosts by users.
6. Contact and Communication
Contact is made directly between users via the provided contact details. The platform operator is not involved in communication between users.
7. Moderation
The platform operator reserves the right to review content, remove listings and block accounts. The operator is not obliged to review all user content in advance.
8. Costs
Use of the browser version is free of charge. Future paid features (e.g. an app) are possible.
9. Voluntary Support
Support of the platform via external payment services (e.g. PayPal or Ko-fi) is voluntary. There is no entitlement to specific services or consideration unless explicitly stated.
10. Guestbook
Users have the option to publish content in the guestbook. Users agree not to publish any unlawful, offensive or misleading content, not to share personal data of third parties without their consent, and to provide only truthful information. Responsibility for published content lies exclusively with the respective user.
11. Changes to the Platform
The platform operator may change or discontinue features at any time.
12. Applicable Law
German law applies.
13. Severability
Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
